Cyprus Aydin University (CAU)

Cyprus Aydin University (CAU) was founded in the city of Kyrenia.
After its establishment, the university began to develop in the short term, gaining recognition from the Ministry of Education of Northern Cyprus, Turkey, and abroad.

General Information


The campus of Cyprus Aydin University is located near the village of Ozanköy on the road to Bellapais Abbey.

A highly qualified teaching staff, modern classrooms, and laboratories equipped with the latest technology are available for students on the premises of Cyprus Science University.

The university is accredited by YÖDAK, the Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation and Coordination Council of Northern Cyprus, and YÖK, the Council of Higher Education of Turkey.

The university's diplomas are recognized by UK NARIC: the National Recognition Information Centre for the United Kingdom.

The university is fully accredited by the Pearson London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Qualifications Center.

Cyprus Science University has also begun construction of a new campus near the village of Dikmen, which is located between Kyrenia and Nicosia.

1. English Preparatory School

  • Base cost: $10,000 per year

  • Discounted fees:

    • 50% → $5,000

    • 60% → $4,000

    • 70% → $3,000

    • 80% → $2,000

    • 85% → $1,500

    • 90% → $1,000

    • 100% → $600 (includes VAT and social activity fee)


2. Associate Degree Programs

  • Base cost: $10,000 per year

  • Discounted fees (same as Preparatory School):

    • 50% → $5,000

    • 60% → $4,000

    • 70% → $3,000

    • 80% → $2,000

    • 85% → $1,500

    • 90% → $1,000

    • 100% → $600 (includes VAT and social activity fee)


3. Undergraduate Program

  • Base cost: $10,000 per year

  • Discounted fees:

    • 50% → $5,000

    • 60% → $4,000

    • 70% → $3,000

    • 80% → $2,000

    • 85% → $1,500

    • 90% → $1,000

    • 100% → $600 (includes VAT and social activity fee)

  • Mandatory initial payment: $1,250
    (required from all admitted undergraduate students for admission letter issuance)


4. Master’s Program

  • Base cost: $7,000

  • Discounted fees:

    • 50% → $3,000

    • 60% → $2,800

    • 70% → $2,100

    • 100% → $1,400 (total tuition fee)


5. Doctoral Program (PhD)

  • Base cost: $12,000

  • Discounted fees:

    • 25% → $9,000

    • 40% → $7,200

    • 50% → $5,000
      (Discounts of 60%, 70%, and 100% are not available for PhD programs)


6. Bridge Courses Program (Master's)

  • Cost: $300 per course


Admission Procedure
Documents required for admission:

  • High school diploma or college graduation certificate with a certified English translation (with transcript)

  • TOEFL (65 IBT) / IELTS (5.5) or testing upon arrival at CSU

  • Copy of passport
