GENERAL INFORMATION

PROGRAMS OFFERED DURING SUMMER SCHOOL

• Option 1 - English Language and Fun. Our highly experienced teachers will provide you with 20 hours of intensive English language classes in addition to 10 hours of tuition in a second language course.
•  Option 2 - Education Course and Leisure Activities. (Additional to opt.1) Enhance your future prospects with this introductory course into our business, tourism, engineering and architecture programs, whilst also receiving intensive English language tuition.

AGE

The minimum age of participants is 10 years. Children are accepted for the program only if accompanied by a group leader or parent.

ACCOMMODATION

 Throughout the participation in the Summer School program, students will stay in the Serinli Holiday Village bungalows (2 people shared rooms), with full furnishings and facilities. The bungalows are surrounded by views of both mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. Additional areas include a gym, large swimming pool, computer room and a lobby with a pool table and other entertainment.

ACTIVITIES

The FIU team is dedicated to making your students summer vacation full of fun and entertainment! Entertaining activities are specifically designed to ensure that participants of all ages are engaged and learning whilst having fun! Students will explore North Cyprus by experiencing cultural trips to famous landmarks with FIU. The tours will be organized to Famagusta, Nicosia, Karparsia and Kyrenia.

PROGRAM COST

• 2 weeks: 1,000 USD*
• 3 weeks: 1,425 USD*
• 4 weeks: 1,800 USD*

*Discount will be applied for students who register before 31st of May.

All fees include accommodation option in our bungalows (2 student shared room) / 3 course meals and soft drinks each day for the scheduled duration of stay / airport shuttle and transfers / 4-hour boat tour / weekday study courses / course notes / social and leisure programs/ free entrance fee to the Acapulco hotel & holiday resort.

ARRIVALS

The Summer School Program starts each Monday, while arrivals are expected each Saturday or Sunday. Please note that airline ticket is not included in the program and should be booked separately.

VISA

A visa is granted upon arrival at Ercan International Airport (ECN) with an invitation letter from the university.
Students with Summer School participation certificate are guaranteed and 80% scholarship for their future undergraduate studies at FIU!
